Telemark Lodge History

About Telemark Lodge

Telemark Lodge is located at Copper Mountain Resort in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and is a privately owned, covenant-controlled building not affiliated with Copper Mountain Resort!
Construction on Telemark Lodge began in 1984 and was completed in December 1985.
The building is designed along a European Alps Lodge theme and was
constructed using prefabricated concrete floor, wall and roof slabs. Telemark Lodge is
conveniently located in the West Village of Copper Mountain Resort and is 200 yards from the
Center Village bus stop, and a five minute walk to Center Village, the American Eagle and
American Flyer high speed quad lifts. Telemark Lodge consists of 64 privately owned
residential units. There are 48 spacious studio units located on the second, third and fourth floors,
and 16 one-bedroom units located on the fifth floor. Each of the 64 residential units were
originally decorated with one of two types of design packages. The units were delivered to their
new owners fully furnished down to the silverware and linens! However today, the majority of
units have been renovated and have their own unique style. The first floor of the building
consists of a grand lodge lobby, elevator, restrooms, secure ski locker room and an East and
West Garage.
